We Believe...1. that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God and that the Holy Scriptures are the supreme authority in our lives.
2. that there is one true God that reveils Himself in three distinct persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
3. that Jesus, while on Earth, was both fully God and fully man, born of a virgin and lived a sinless life.
4. that man is God's most special creation, made in His own image.
5. that because of disobedience to God, the most perfect relationship ever conceived was broken.
6. that the only way to restore the broken relationship caused by sin is through repentance, and placing our faith in Jesus Christ as He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
7. that Jesus shed His blood, died on the cross, and paid the debt that is required for sin.
8. that the church is an autonomous local congregation of believers and that the Body of Christ includes all of the redeemed
9. that baptism, by immersion, and the Lord's Supper are the ordinances of the church and that we follow these ordinances to glorify our Lord and Savior.
10. that God is sovereign over all things.
11. that sharing the good news of Jesus' death, burial, and resurection is the duty and privilege of every believer.
12. that discipleship, fellowship, unity, and love are marks of a healthy church and that we should strive to honor God by exuding these characteristics.
In addition to the beliefs listed here, this church acknowledges the full report of the Baptist Faith and Message adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention on May 9, 1963, and has adopted it as our confession of faith.
